Question Asus PRIME Z790-P WIFI (Bios update ????)

I cannot seem to update my bios. (v1656 is the latest one, addresses some Intel things) Yet the ASUS UEFI Bios Utility says BIOS Ver. 9019 Yet when I watch youtube tutorials on similar updating they can do it without a hitch, and when I do mine it says: “Selected file is not a proper Bios file”.

Upon watching a youtube video of updating the same motherboard I have, it is strange to see their BIOS Ver. was 1603 and they grabbed the 1645 and walaa, update success. (They pressed F2 to enter thier Bios, strange, but my PC requires pressing DEL to enter Bios)

My current BIOS Ver. is 9019, why would mine be like 8000 versions above whats already out !? The current BIOS for this exact motherboard is: v1656

Wont be home for another 6 hrs, but, thats from April 18, basically nothing has changed since then

Its a pre-build from Corsair

So it is an Asus MB but not an Asus MB? I just find it weird I cannot update via asus website. I did go to Corsair and there is currently no release. I guess I am forced to wait until They choose to make it available I guess ?

it is a asus, just not a consumer motherboard. is a custom oem version of the motherboard. probably missing some feature.
