MOBO: Asus ProArt Z790 Creator
PROCESSOR: Intel i9-13900KF
GRAPHICS: Asus ProArt GeForce RTX 4060 Ti
GRAPHICS (TESTED BACKUP): Zotac GeForce GT 1030
RAM: Corsair Vengeance DDR5 128GB
RAM (TESTED BACKUP): Tested With 1 and 0 Sticks
PSU: Corsair RM1200X
PSU (TESTED BACKUP): MSI MAG A850GL
Hi, hoping someone can help point me troubleshoot an installation issue I'm having with this build.
I'm not receiving POST beep from the MOBO, and no video display. MOBO has power, fans are going, RAM is lighting up, etc. But, it appears DOA.
I've tested by consecutively removing and replacing components (swapping Graphics Cards, PSU and removing RAM sticks). I've shorted the CMOS per the ASUS manual and cleared it.
Last week, I felt the MOBO must be bad; so I swapped it out with a new one. Same results.
Don't have a spare processor or spare 1700 MOBO to test the processor.
There doesn't appear to be a lot of online posting activity with the ProArt MOBO's, I can't seem to nail down if you must connect a speaker to hear the BIOS beeps or not. The manual discusses POST beeps; so I'd assume it should be beeping.
Apparently, I either have two bad MOBO's or a bad processor. I don't think I've ever run into a bad processor before.
Any feedback, or additional diagnostic or troubleshooting advice would be greatly appreciated!
