ASUS Rampage II GENE RAM Upgrade Options

Hi,

I built my rig a couple year back and so far have only needed to upgrade the graphic card a couple of times, but would now like to up the RAM to try and improve online gaming for big games such as BF3 and BF4 etc.

I currently run 6GB RAM (can't remember the specs as I'm at work, but can update later), and would like to upgrade to either 8GB or 16GB.

I don't mind if I can use the same RAM as I currently have or if I have to change it, I just want better and faster RAM for my online gaming (if that's possible?)

Thanks Randini, would you say that 1600 is best to use for my gaming needs?

And what should I be aiming for with these:

DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)
Timing 7-9-8-24
Cas Latency 7
Voltage 1.65V

I mean should I get as low as I can for Timing, CL and Voltage? And what's the (PC3 12800)? I'm kind of a newbie with these bits as I have never really learnt much about RAM - sorry!

Also, I'm in the UK so would that make a difference to what I can buy? IE can I get what you recommended in the UK without having to get it shipped from the US?

Would they be just as good as the two mentioned above? Keep in mind these can be overclocked as here http://forums.aria.co.uk/showthread.php/48045-Corsair-Vengeance-12GB-3x4GB-1600MHz-Review to get them running at "1600MHz 7-8-7-24 1.5v" or "2000MHz 9-10-9-24 1.6v"

If not, maybe some could let me know if I would need to pay any tax etc to get the ones from newegg.com shipped to me in the UK please?
