Hi all
I was wondering if any of you could shed some light on a problem I am having...
I have recently completed a new build with an Asus Rampage Extreme V
I have an Intel 5930 and 4 x 4 GB Dominator 3000mhz DDR4
There is a huge problem with one certain DIMM slot.
I can POST with the following:
A1
A1 + C1
A1 + B1 + C1
As soon as I put a memory stick in D1, the system will not post and I will receive a "6F" error on the red LED.
I have tried all sticks and all combinations. The system simply will not post if something is present in that slot.
I have tried an air blower in case something was in there but to no avail. I have tried all BIOS versions and have the same problem every time.
Does this sound like a faulty board?
Thanks in advance!
