Question Still almost zero knowledge after researching this for months. Is this build okay?

I was wonder if this build is okay? All has been purchased/paid so cannot be changed anymore.. I still only have surface level knowledge about rig building and could use a really good set of eyes if this is fine. This is the cheapest I could go with on a tight budget. The ryzen 7 5700x is the same price as that i5 1440f so I went with that one. Prices may likely be more expensive from where we live at. As for my knowledge, its just chat gpt and searching benchmark and looking at the ranking. I was hoping to get an opinion from a real human with the right knowledge though if this is okay? Since chatgpt tend to sugarcoat stuff. PC part picker said the only compatibility issue is the bios update? However, im more of wanting to know if I did okay. Maybe ill upgrade some parts next year because I chose bad picks. But is this okay? Thank you so much!

Thank you! The only issue I am aware of is the processor where the 13th gen would be better in gaming like 13600k or something (but i do not have the budget). I was told by my brother to invest in a good psu and there is this tier list and heard this PSU is tier A or something. I eventually replaced the MSI ssd with samsung 970 evo cause i had an extra budget. The chassis is something that comes from the store so I got that one to save more money and they said deepcool is better than AIO (would be moving this build from time to time). The ram for being 3200mhz, aside from budget concerns, chatgpt told me that i dont have to unlock my motherboard? though it says in the website it could run up to 4600/4800mhz (no idea what that is aside from it being speed?) The GPU is the cheapest available in the store.

Thank you for your comment. I truly appreciate it

I think that they are just talking about the ram speed. If you’re able to set xmp on that ram the board should understand the ram’s speed. You may have to set the ram speed in the bios.

Is this the board you got? It may support your i5 14400 but if not, I’m not sure if it has a bios flashback feature that lets you flash the bios without the cpu being supported. It likely depends on how long your particular board sat in a warehouse before you getting it.

I would add looking at the vrm/power delivery on that board, I’m not sure I would put a better cpu on that board than the 14400. I think the 14400 is a 65 watt cpu though so you should be ok.

Should be a good build, but maybe ask before buying next time.

I have a 12600kf that I’m trying to sell. If I understand it right, the 14400 is basically the same performance as the 12600k but more power efficient. So it should be fine for a bit. I upgraded to a 7600x3d but truth be told the i5 would have probably been fine for a couple more years but you know how it is when you get the upgrade bug…
