Got a new build going together here for a son's Christmas gift:
Coolermaster Trooper case with 10 fans,
Asus RampageV Extreme motherboard
Intel i7-5930K 3.5 Ghz 6-Core Processor,
Cooler Master V8 GTS Processor Cooler,
G.Skill DDR4 3000 Mhz (4 x 8 GB) 32 GB total,
2 G.Skill Turbulence III Memory fans,
2 EVGA Geforce 780TI-Superclocked Video Cards- in SLI Mode,
Seasonic Platinum Rated 80 Efficiency 1000W Power Supply,
Western Digital Black Internal 4TB Hard Drive,
Crucial 2.5 Inch SSD 512 GB.
The Problem:
Motherboard does not recognize a video card in PCIe Slot one.
A quick trip to Geek Squad had them pour over it, they cited the same issue, No slot one recognition. They suggest an RMA back to newegg.
Anybody got any solutions or test procedures short of the RMA
