I've just installed the motherboard to the brand new system. All drivers are installed, everything's good to go.

However, I notive a VERY irritating thing when I'm listening to audio, music, videos, whatever - the oudio output is compressed... like compressed in an audio software. When the volume is high, it takes the volume down, when the volume is down it takes it up. Therefore, it creates a breathing effect, which sometimes crackles.

I could not find any setting to remove this compression, and this issue became VERY annoying. Looking for tips.

Also check for smart volume etc. It really sounds like a driver setting. On my current sound blaster zx it is called smart volume. Maybe realtek calls something similar too. Just to be sure i would suggest play a song etc. on a linux live usb so you don't have the driver and see if it does it.
