One important thing that the article doesn't mention is bloatware. I'd prefer a laptop that hasn't been tainted by McAfee.

This is not really accurate . ASUS is not the best when it comes to business notebooks and professional notebooks. they are really far behind.

Asus is fine for home user but for business users, support and certain ergonomics is more important than laptop specs.

Eg. users tend to treat their company laptops more carelessly than their personal ones. So, needs to be durable. Connectivity and other features in business different from home ones. Security too. Home users don't usually need TPM and bitlocker but not the case for business.

Also, there is warranty and support. Home laptops are fine with 1yr but business needs 3yrs. Also, no carry-in. NBD on-site is a must. Some may even require 2-4hrs 24/7. Also need accidental dmg warranty etc......
