Hi everyone

My RAM is causing booting issues after enabling EXPO-1 on my motherboard. The RAM was only running at 3600MHz as opposed to its advertised 5600MHz. I tested this a few times and had to reset my motherboard's battery to reset the BIOS and luckily managed to get back into BIOS after a few resets.

I've seen some Reddit threads with the same issues with this brand of RAM specifically so I'm looking for a reliable replacement

Here's my current kit:

CPU - AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D 4.2 GHz 16-Core

GPU-Gigabyte GAMING OC GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER 12G

RAM - Corsair Vengeance 128 GB (4 x 32 GB) DDR5-5600 CL36 Memory

MOBO - Gigabyte B650 GAMING X AX V2 ATX AM5 Motherboard

OS - Windows 10 64-bit

Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated. Let me know if you need more info.

Hi

Yes this happened initially with the A2 B2 configuration (2x32GB).

Then I bought the same and doubled but still got the same results (4x32GB).

So if I want 128GB of RAM I'm better off finding 2x64GB rather than 4x32GB?

I was considering getting the

Kingston FURY Beast White RGB XMP 128GB 5600MT/s DDR5 CL40

Or maybe a compatible 2x48GB.
