Hello,
I have recentry bought Asus ROG STRIX B350-F motherboard, I’m planning on getting Amd Ryzen 5 1500x CPU for it.

And while searching for ram I came across Corsair Dominator Platinum Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR4 DRAM 3600MHz

Will the motherboard/cpu be compatable with these ram sticks?

Thank you.

Here is a link to the memory QVL for your board.

I highly recommend getting RAM on this list as the 1st generation rzyen boards have RAM capability issues. The RAM you selected may work, but it is not on the list, so I would not get it if they don't take returns. Also, getting it to run at 3600mhz is going to be a real pain. 3200mhz will be easier. I would buy a 3200mhz kit on the list.

3600mhz is VERY rare to get working on Ryzen properly. Running 3600mhz out of the box is almost impossible on 1st Gen Ryzen. Typically you need to fiddle with SoC voltage and timings to get 3600mhz to work.

3466MHz is the max you typically see Ryzen liking right out of the box, but even then it's not the norm. 3000-3200MHz with the latest BIOS's however are the sweet spot and seem to be very obtainable out of the box now.
