So, I was able to snatch a 5080 for myself and I bought a MSI - MPG A1000G PCIE 5.0, 80+ Gold Full Modular Gaming PSU which has a 600 watts 12VHPWR cable which gets directly inserted in the PSU to GPU. I just wanted to ask are this cables reliable? or should I use nvidia's 12VHPWR to pcie converter cable which I am currently using with my 4070 as my psu is 850Watts and doesn't have that 12VHPWR cable which can go directly from psu to gpu.

It's best to avoid any extra adapters/connectors. It just doubles possibility of possible fail points.

Could you elaborate on the issue you're experiencing with the 12VHPWR cable? This is usually a high-power type of GPU, and if you are experiencing connectivity issues or power delivery, that could be an area where compatibility from your PSU to the GPU is checked.
