Question ASUS ROG STRIX G17 Thermal Throttling

Purchased this laptop less than two months ago, has been running great ever since. Haven't gamed it in a couple days after it forced me to update BIOS. Tried launching several different games, when launched would run normally with the frame rate I've been getting, then after around 10 seconds of the game being launched the frames are capped at 15 FPS. When I quit the game(s) mouse cursor moves at 240Hz, but everything else displays at 15FPS. The only thing I can think of is thermal throttling. I have elevated it for more airflow and cleaned the fans out.

Ryzen 9 7845 HX with Radeon with Radeon Graphics
16gb RAM
4060
1 tb ssd
Windows 11

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

Use DDU to remove all GPU drivers(Intel, AMD and Nvidia) then manually reinstall the latest GPU driver sourced from Nvidia's support site, in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator.
