i saw many reviews about this laptop and benchmarks. but i see none of the games touching 240 fps. then what is the use of 240hz . ofc laptops are not good in cooling otherwise u get more than 240fps on a 2070 even with i5.
the main question is that will i even experience 240hz feel in games without 240 fps in the game. or should i go with a 144hz. coz i dont wanna waste money on just refresh rate if i cant even experience it

Solution
Compare the specs between 144hz and 240Hz models. Think i saw the 144hz variant having an Rtx 2060. If so, i don't think 2060 is enough for 144Hz either. I would choose the 2070 model then for the more powerful graphics card, atleast then youll be potentially hovering in vicinity of 144+ more. Could always drop the Hz if you get frame tear albeit at such a fast refresh rate, may not be too noticeable if at all. Im not sure if these laptops have Gsync.
Depends on game, resolution and settings. If games you want to play can't reach 240fps in your desired graphics setup then there's no point.

If you were an esports person then could argue 240Hz would make sense if you're a competitive player.

144Hz itself, if frame rates can be met is pretty awesome. More so if you're used to lower.

well i saw the latest games. and i m going to play those but the laptop having rtx 2070 does not reach 200 fps even in fortnite or pubg. with an i7 9th gen

should i buy a 144hz laptop instead. bcoz if it cant reach 240fps then i wont feel it right?
i actually wanted for esports purpose but i just need the laptop coz i cant carry my pc anywhere. and i m out most of the times. wherever i go i need to practice at least 3-4 matches a day
