ASUS ROG SWIFT Screen flickering after a week of use. Hardware or monitor issue?

Hey all I bought a few parts during the Amazon sale and at first everything worked great. Lately though my screen has been flickering and is near unusable. Turning refresh down to 60hz or so usually stops it, but the whole point of getting the monitor was for the 144hz and G SYNC. After the computer being on awhile, I can usually switch back to 144hz and then it will work intermittently.

Here are my specs: http://i.imgur.com/s3KcpR5.png

Is it possible this is a hardware issue from the components I didn't upgrade? Or do I need to go through with sending the monitor back to Amazon?
Thanks for any help!

I doubt it's an issue with your PC. Half the people I've known who have bought an ROG Swift have had to RMA/return it either right when they got it or within a couple months. If it is flickering consistently, RMA it.

You're welcome. You're right it is disappointing. The Acer XB270HU has less issues I hear, ]but still has them (it's a very similar monitor).
