Question asus s550ca ssd cache?

at this website (https://www.myfixguide.com/manual/asus-vivobook-s550cm-disassembly/ ), and the spec page of the the mentioned laptop (https://www.asus.com/Laptops/ASUS_VivoBook_S550CA/specifications/ ) it has 3gb cache. what is ssd cache? and can i put a regular ssd (mini pcie) in there?

I’m not sure about your first question, but mini pcie is different than m.2 (assuming that you are talking about nvme drives.) Mini PCIE has only 1 pcie lane, while m.2 has four.
