Question Recommend a graphics card for my PC please?

Greetings, fellow tom's hardware PC folks.

I want a new graphics card. Around $750-ish hopefully but maybe a bit more if its worth it perhaps. I'm trying to get my parents to get me it as a birthday gift. They want to know what graphics card I want and if it will fit in my PC and work with it.

Anyways, here are my PC specs:

I'd like something with at least 16GB VRAM.

I want something really really good.

But also someone is interested in getting this for me as a gift with someone else chipping in and they're looking to spend around ~$750

Any recommendations?

I want a new graphics card.
We're going to need a little more context. What is the make, model and age of your PSU? I'm assuming you want a GPU upgrade for your gaming duties. If that's assumption is correct, at what resolution are you looking to game on your system?

You should also mention the make and model of your case and cooler in the event that there might be clearance issues.

Lastly, in spite of including your budget, if you're not located in the USA, please include sites you have access to.

My resolution is 1440p.

I have an 850W 80+ Gold power supply unit

idk what my exact cooling system is it involves fans though
