Asus recommended this as the only motherboard that would be a crossover.. with PCI 3.0 and AM3+
Is it windows 10 64 compatible? I need to put in a 2070 card. Does it really have a PCI 3.0

First of all, Asus specifically told me that this is the only motherboard that they made that has a AM3+ with PCI3.0 capability. However I think they did not pay attention to the fact that I am in windows 10 64
Because I need to use a GTX 2070 or 2060 card which require a PCIe 3.0.
My 8350 AM3+ 8 core 4.0mhz cpu is water cooled and very reliable for my computational stitching.
I am not a gamer.
It is cheaper to use an old motherboard and later upgrade to a 16 core with a new motherboard. So for 400+120 I am good for now.
I am able to reuse the GPU card with a new processor and replace back into this machine the current GTX 660ti as a secondary machine so I can multi machine render.
FYI the GPU is only used for previews, The CPU is used for rendering... which can be done asymetrically.. meaning .. fast edit manipulation decisions with fast previews and later slower full renders.

the gpu don't required pcie 3.0. it will run on pcie 2.0.
not sure about old am3+ motherboard tho.
If that were true, I would not need to change my motherboard.
How come the GPU manufactuers say I need a PCIe 3.0 slot for the GTX 2060 or 70
MSI GeForce RTX 2070 DirectX 12 RTX 2070 TRI FROZR 8GB 256-Bit GDDR6 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card
