Asus Sabertooth 990FX

Got a 990FX Asus Sabertooth board with an FX8370, got 8 gigs of Corsair DDR3 Ram, 1.2v. Can I use 1.2v Ram on this motherboard?

Yep, that won't be a problem. You should be able to use up to 1.65V on DDR3.

seems to be it can go up to 1.7 and low to 1.25, seems possible

OK, one more question. Leave it run as is at 1.2v , or manually change it to 1.5?

if it is a low voltage ram, it is ideal to use it at lower voltages, it can kill it

the idea of low voltage ram is use few volts and watts, ngenerate less heat, consume less watts and last longer than 1.5volts ram uses to last, which is very long i must say, 5 years or more is common
