All i did is install a windows 10 update and now my ethernet cable wont detect itself in windows. The led lights are flashing on the ethernet cable port but nothing. No internet. I installed the realtek LAN drivers for my motherboard and it doesnt detect ethernet cable. And still doesnt work help!

switch off your router, leave it for a few seconds, the shut down your PC, now switch the router back on, wait until its fully booted up, all lights are on, now switch back on your computer.

If this doesn't work, un-install the update.

Ive done that and my brothers PC is working fine connecting to the router with ethernet. Ive also reinstalled it several times ans several updates. Nothing. No detection in windows.

Yep that was the second thing i did. Same problem. The lights are blinking indicating its connected. Its windows its not detecting it for some reason

That was one of the first things i did and still nothing the leds were blinking which means that the motherboard detected it but windows didnt
