[SOLVED] Asus Strix 3080 questions

Hello all! I just got an asus Strix 3080 and was wondering if I need to connect the additional 4 pin cpu power connector in addition to the 8pin on my mobo? I am running an Asus ROG Maximus Hero xi Wifi

That 4 pin cpu connector is strictly for overclocking,so it can deliver more power to the overclocked cpu.It has nothing to do with a graphics card.Just make sure u have all the cables for gpu connect to the gpu and ur all good.
Whats ur psu?
