I am currently having an issue with my graphics card, it is brand new but for some reason the fans do not spin up even when the gpu is under load, i have tried to make it work in using different softwares but for some reason the fan rpm stays at 0 when i change the fan speed percentage, even when i put the software at auto for fan speed the percentage changes but the rpm stays at 0. Please help me

Solution
The Asus Strix cards have "0dB" fans that stay off at temperatures below ~64c to eliminate noise. This is normal and by design. If your fans stay off above 70c then there's a problem.

They stay off above 70c and the gpu can get to around 90c under load

i tried that and the fans still wouldn't spin, the thing is on auto the fan speed % goes up but the rpm stays at 0

i did that and the wire is connected

Are you running two different GPU monitoring applications? If so, turn one off and only run one.

So you are seeing a fan % increase in Afterburner, but not RPMs, correct? And you are physically seeing that the fans are not spinning at temperatures above 70c, correct?

I would give it one last try to install the latest drivers, and uninstall/reinstall the latest version of Afterburner (only Afterburner). Checking, basically, that everything is fresh and at default. After that, if still no fan movement, then you need to call support for an RMA return for a defective card.
