I'm looking to upgrade to a GTX 970 for 1440p gaming but my casing has a maximum supported GPU length of 11.5 inches. I had two options to choose from since my budget is limiting (It was originally for a GTX 960), A Gigabyte one or the Asus Strix. The Gigabyte is 11.6 inches long so that won't work, even if it does somehow I don't want it to overheat just because of that. The Asus Strix 970 Is 11 inches long so I'll have half an inch of space to spare. I'm still wondering if this will work out.
