[SOLVED] ASUS TUF B550 GAMING PLUS (WI-FI) + Ryzen 5 pro 4650G compatible?

Hello everyone,

I would like to ask if the ASUS TUF GAMING B550-PLUS (WI-FI) supports the ryzen 5 pro 4650G. I've noticed that the non-wi-fi model and the B550M model both wo but can't find out if this model (TUF GAMING B550-PLUS (WI-FI)) does.

Could anyone confirm wether this processor is supported on the TUF gaming 550 plus (wi-fi), please? I'm on the verge of buying this board.

Yes it does support the 4650G. On the motherboards support page under technical specifications it lists support for Ryzen 4000 G-Series processors.

It does list that, indeed. I just wanted to be sure since it wasn't listed individually. Took the plunge and bought it anyways. I'll post my experience here after it's build so everyone with the same question can get an answer. Thank you for your reply!

Everything came in the mail today & it's running flawlessly!

Conclusion: the board supports the 4650G!
CPU-Z mentions i'm running bios version 1004 out of the box.
For those of you interested;
*ECC memory seems to be supported (the command "wmic memphysical get memoryerrorcorrection" returns 6 as result); you'll have to turn it on in the bios though.
*If you're interested to see the bios/UEFI options available for this mobo - the "M" version of the mobo seems to have the same bios/UEFI settings:

Keep in mind Ryzen supports ECC memory, but not if it's registered /buffered memory. The RAM in a Ryzen build still has to be unregistered/unbuffered like any other normal desktop build. ECC unregistered will work, ECC registered will not work.
