Question ASUS TUF Gaming X570-Plus WiFi, S-AM4. No Ethernet.

I have updated bios and installed latest LAN drivers for my motherboard. I really do not know what to do. The motherboard is fresh out the box.

Did you do a fresh OS install or are you trying to reuse on OS install?

Did you install the motherboard drivers when you did the OS install?
Have swapped ethernet cables?
Does the ethernet adapter show up in the device manager?

I installed the drivers right after OS install.
No I have no swapped
And no it does not.

If your adapter doesn't show up in device manager, then you need to boot a portable linux to determine if you have a hardware or software problem. If it works in linux the a software problem, if not hardware problem.

Hello agin, I checked in Mint and I only get WiFi there as well.

Could still be a cable problem since you haven't swapped in a new one.
What change was made that made it not work? BIOS update? Windows update? Power hit/thunderstorm?

I am currently fearing "DoA" mobo. I built the PC yesterday. Cable was fine on my old motherboard. I switched from Intel to AMD

I guess we will never know the issue I am returning the board.
