Question ASUS TUF Gaming Z790-Plus WiFi and SN850x, Shows in BIOS, But No Boot Drive Option

I'm building a PC with the ASUS TUF Gaming Z790-Plus WiFi Mobo, everything works great except the two WD SN850Xs do not show up as boot options, so I cannot install the OS, they are recognized as drives, I just cannot add them to the boot list.

The system has 6g4GB Ram, i9-13900k, no graphics card yet.

I've searched online extensively and I do not see anything that would help.
I've updated the BIOS, changed various settings, with no luck.

Any ideas?

Drives do not need to be ON the BIOS list of bootable devices necessarily, in order to install Windows on them. In fact, MANY systems won't show any NVME drives until AFTER you've installed Windows on them, although this is usually more prevalent on systems from older generations.

In any case, to begin installing Windows you don't boot to the drives it is going on anyhow, you boot to the USB or optical drive device that has the Windows installer on it and THEN once you get to the point where it asks where you want to install Windows, any connected drive that is recognized will usually show up as an option to be the Windows destination.

Have you TRIED booting to your Windows installation media and going through the installation process to see if your SN850X shows up in the Windows installer's list of drives?
