Hello! Last week i bought a brand new gaming laptop : ASUS TUF FX505DU-AL031.
The specs are:
AMD Ryzen 7-3750H
8GB RAM
256GB SSD
Nvidia Geforce GTX 1660 Ti 6gb
The problem is, the first day i got it the games ran really smoothly. I played Valorant for example on the highest specs for 100-120 fps. The second day it started to perform worse, the fps was reduced to like 80-100 max, fluctuating on the literally lowest possible settings on the highest resolution. I gotta point out the fact that between the highest and lowest settings there is a difference of 10 fps at most. It still runs fine but i get huge fps drops while in combat. Also, with the lowest settings, i max at a 90 fps on Apex Legends and i think this is not fine. I did optimize the Nvidia and the Windows control panel to high performance. I suspected it's thermal throttling and I bought a decent cooler, nothing changed. Please help, thank you.
