Recently I just built a new gaming PC and everything is working fine except I cannot use the built in wifi. The antennae is connected and I downloaded all of the ethernet/wifi drivers for this board but I still do not have access to the built in wifi. Pretty annoying because I bought this board mainly because of the wifi.

And you verified the wifi is turned on in the bios? When you say "do not have access to the built in wifi" does anything show up in the Windows, Settings, Network and Internet menu?

Yes, in network and internet nothing shows up except nearby wifi and it doesnt show anything in bios either, ive even looked in other threads like this for people that have the same problem and I havent found a solution.

If it shows nearby wifi of other peoples houses and routers then the wifi does work; it just doesn't work for the wifi you want to connect to, wherever that comes from, e.g. your own router. So the question becomes what router is this, who set it up, how is it set up, were you able to connect to it from your old computer and other devices and most importantly are there any restrictions on the router which would prevent your being able to see the router now and access it. Also is this a fresh install of windows?

It's functioning if it shows nearby wifi from other people's homes and routers; it's not working for the wifi you want to connect to, regardless of where it originates from, such as your own network. So, who installed it, how is it set, were you able to connect to it from your previous computer and other devices, and, most crucially, are there any limitations on the router that prohibit you from seeing and using it right now? Is this a new Windows installation as well?
