If I am gonna pay extra, let it be for an R9 290X DirectCU II Mini.

A card of that class and size is the missing key to the ITX box I'd like to build.

Very nice cannot wait for benchmarks. Toms better be first in line for Testing. I really like to see more hybrid water block-air solutions. I think with proper design can be more effective then air or water alone. just thinking double slot with typical water block with whole half inch of heatsink covering the whole board and couple fans godly cooling :)

Really? Since when? Please point out that post or comment then because I don't recall saying anything about G-Sync so please by all means point out where I have said I adored it.

I have never said that they are perfect just that I prefer them to AMD and your comment and some of the others are perfect examples of why I have a low opinion of AMD fans.

No, it still will. A video card cooler can't defy the laws of nature. Fans and heatsinks can't make a video card produce less heat. All they do is reduce the heat within components on the card by moving it somewhere else (eg... your room).

G-Sync has already been proven via demos at their conference. Mantle, on the other hand, is nothing but talk, which doesn't leave me with a lot of confidence in it.

AMD has a history of overhyping and underperforming. The Phenom Is arrived late, broken, and slow. The Phenom IIs arrived too late and got trounced by SB, and BD was a total fiasco. PD was good on these terms, but its what BD should of been in the first place.
