Asus UX301LA SSD RAID0 Problems

I have a Asus UX301LA that should be running RAID0 configuration. However, only one drive is accessible for use, thus the RAID cannot be setup.

The hard drives both show up is the BIOS as well as in device manager. However, they do not show up in disk management or in My computer/This PC. When I bought the computer, I could see both drives in My Computer (but they were in a RAID array), after a fresh OS install, I only had one.

I have tried fresh install the windows 8.1 and windows 10 both using RAID and AHCI configurations. In both scenarios, when going through the OS install, only one drive can be seen to partition/etc. I have also tried to use Intel RST drivers at this point and after windows is installed to setup a software RAID, but, again, the second drive can not be seen.

Any help would be appreciated!

Well if you want to RAID them together the RAID HAS to be setup before hand. You can't install windows and then RAID them unless you use lame software RAID.

So how are they setup right now? When you setup the RAID you have to go into the BIOS/RAID BIOS of the motherboard and set it up there otherwise they should just pass as normal hard drives.

Since you have installed windows on one and it can't see the other, if you go into device manager and then under Disk does it list the other SSD or no? Does the BIOS list both of them?
