Hi there!
My asus ve228h lcd monitor is not working from last few days. Actually, few weeks ago when i changed my home office settings and move everything to another room, the lcd started behaving very strange i. e, when at first i plugin the power it did not detect it all (mean no light in the power led) . I tried different power supply and switches but everything gone invain. Then I check another lcd and it work just fine and meanwhile when i plugin power again to asus monitor it just lighten up. I was happy that it's working fine so i ignored this issue at all.

After few days, when for some reason I unpluged my monitor and re connected the problem was there again. And I recall the trick i have done before, connect another lcd with the power supply and again connected to asus lcd. The method worked and I was back to my work.

But you know, good things does not last longer. Day before Yesterday, when i redo the process and follow my so called trick, IT Did Not Work 🙁
Now my lcd is not lightning up, no power signs in the led and I did every possible change i can but nothing works. Please kindly help me out with this issue and ignore my English.

Thanks

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

You might want to see if changing the power cable that powers the monitor changes the issue. Also, have you tried relocating the montior and it's power source to another power outlet?

Hi Lutfij! Thanks for warm welcome,

I've already tried this but the problem persists every where. Also the same cables are working fine for other lcds, monitors and the system. Issue is only with this particular lcd.

Well guys, I've tried each and every electric board on my home. And strangely, when I first time connect it to another board it got a white spike on power led and then nothing. Even if i reconnect it to the same board with same power supplies.

And after few tries it got the power. I found that if I just turn on/off the switch without removing power cable, it works fine. But whenever I remove the cable even from the board and plugin again, it will not work at all.

Is this a lcd's (internal) power supply issue??
