ASUS VG248QE in surround mode or Acer XB280HK bprz 28-inch Display Ultra HD 4K2K NVIDIA G-SYNC

Hello there! I used to have two ASUS VG248QE but today i went out and bought a Acer XB280HK bprz 28-inch Display Ultra HD 4K2K NVIDIA G-SYNC and to be frank im not impressed. on my 980ti there is major input lag for some odd reason when doing basic things and I can very clearly see the difference between 60hz and the old 144hz monitors. So heres my question. Would it be better to try and fix these problems on the 4k monitor ( not sure if thats even possible) and have one 4k monitor Or should i return it and go with another asus vg248qe for a surround setup?
