i dont have a monitor for my new pc build and these are the two that have gsync, so should i get the ASUS VG248QE 1080p or wait until april and get asus rog pg278q 1440p
witch do i get

If you want to play games 100FPS+ at 1080p, get the VG248QE and pair it with single 780 TI. If 1440p is your pick, then SLI that 780Ti so that you can benefit that $800 120Hz monitor.

Yes you can run a single 780 Ti. You'll probably max 40-60FPS ultra settings on games which is acceptable.

I'm also planning to get the ROG Swift 1440p. I own a GTX690.
I have a suggestion for you. If you're playing fast paced shooters like BF4, COD, etc...
Just turn down anti-aliasing and play the shooters games in medium/high settings for Multiplayer.
For Campaign games, go ahead and turn up the settings to Ultra, you should still get 40-60 FPS on Ultra, which should be playable because of G-sync.
Personally, I prefer high frames rather than eye candy for shooters. The high refresh rates + high FPS is a big competitive advantage in multiplayer.
