Asus VG248QE Worth It?

Hey guys I was wondering if the Asus VG248QE would be worth the money for a gaming monitor. I don't do anything except gaming like programming or videos so this is a question for a strictly gaming monitor. I want to run a single monitor setup but I don't know if the VG248QE would be worth the money or if there's an equal monitor for a little less money. I'd be willing to get the VG248QE but I was just wondering if it's as good as people say for single monitors.

if im reading the website right it has 3D and built in speakers? if you really want all those "bells and whistles" then that price is pretty good for a 24" 1080p monitor.

any 144hz will give you improvements in windows and everywhere else, especially if you have the hardware to run games at 80fps and above.
its odd that its not the standard then build resolution after that.
