Question Asus vg248qz

Hey guysive switched many monitors

Got my hands on a vg248qz which is 1 of the more recent revisions, also had vga248q and vg248qe
All of them supported gsync through nvidia control panel, im using this 1 with a 9900k z390 asus prime-p and an rtx 2070 gaming z
Msi gpu, on a new windows installation, all drivers of nvidia, bios and windows updated all updated fully
And the gsync does not apear on the panel settings....

Ive stated other monitors i had because they all did have that option..

Any advice?

That monitor does not support G-Sync or Freesync.

What is it good for then?

Its newer than the vg248q and vg248qe that do suppoet it though how does that makes sense?

VG248QE does not support FreeSync either.

There were a few that supported G-sync, not from the factory but there was an upgrade kit.

I'm aware It was a limited edition thing that has long since ended
