This is the first time I bought an ASUS monitor. I had 3 20in ACER. The big problem is the black level of this LCD.
My Acer P205H 20in lcd monitor has better black level than this monitor. Especially when playing BF3, comparing each of the monitors side by side, my Acer monitor has it good. The Asus has a greyish/blueish black, it's really bothering me. So I tried the Scenery mode, Great color by the way. More vivid, colors are more vibrant but the Black level this time is toooooo much. It seems that from the details of the rock (on BF3), u can't seem to see it as much. My Acer's black level is just fine, not to washed/low or too dark.
Right now, I'm using "Scenery Mode"; Brightness: 60 Contrast: 80 Saturation: 45. Color temp: User Mode R: 84 G: 77 B: 78. Skin Tone: Reddish Sharpness: 53. But this looks still way too much black level, it so dark that it's almost covering to much darkness on the shadows around the screen.
When I use the Standard Mode: all settings are the same but the screen itself is washed. You would see it the most on a dark area on BF3, like in the Tunnels. Switching from Scenery to Standard makes the Standard mode washed on every aspect. But again, the Scenery mode is just too dark.
I took a picture of the three settings or how it looks like. Sorry bout the low quality/resolution image, i used my phone for this but I just bought a DSLR camera that's going to be here tomorrow >V<

Please if anyone has their own settings for this particular monitor, please let me know. I'll try each one of those setting and then I'll fiddle with all those settings together and I'll let you guys know how I did.
Thank you in advance to the people participating on my thread!
P.S. Sorry for any bad grammers 😛 English isn't my native language XD
