Hello all!
I am planning to perform a build with some PC parts I already have (CPU, GPU, RAM, SSD and cooler). My idea is to use the resulting PC as a working/gaming machine during a time and, in a future, when the components become obsolete, to use the system as an UNRAID machine.

The system parts would be the following:

-Intel i7 8700k
-ASUS WS C246M Pro motherboard
-2 x Corsair Vengeance LPX 8Gb
-Samsung 970 Pro NVME (PCI x4)
-ASUS TURBO-RTX2070-8G (PCI x16)
-ASUS XG-C100C (10Gb ethernet) (PCI x4)
-ASUS PCE-AX58BT (WIFI/Bluetooth)(PCI x1)
-Corsair RM850x
-Some mechanical HDD would be added in a future UNRAID configuration

My main concern is regarding the system's overload because of the amount of devices:
-Would I have any problem because of the amount of PCI lines required by the devices in the above description? (underperformance in GPU/SSD/ethernet...)
-Would I have any problem in case of adding 7 mechanical HDD to such configuration in a future?

I am not an expert in PCI lanes, but the C246M chipset has 24 lanes and, after reading the motherboard's manual in ASUS' webpage, I don't see any restriction...
The only problem I have found about this mobo is that is does not have PCI bifurcation (I have read it a forum , but I have found nothing about it in ASUS' website and I am not quite sure about the consequences of not having it)
In any case, the motherboard is quite expensive and I would like to be sure before purchasing it, so any help/suggestion is welcome...
Thanks in advance!
