Question Asus X299-A II MB - RAID Setup

Hello,

I can see that the X299-A II Prime has 3x M.2 slots. Will this support 2x Samsung Evo 970's in RAID 0?

I can see that one of the M.2 slots goes to the Chipset, one to the CPU - I gather that the other may have a switch or circuit that switches between either the chipset or CPU?

Any confirmation would be much appreciated.
