Just upgraded my ITX to an Asus Strix x570-i Gaming mobo (with an AMD 3700X) and G.SKILL TridentZ 16GB (2x8GB) 3600Mhz RAM (F4-3600C16D-16GTZKW) which is on the vendor approved list.
Everything works fine stock, but if I enable D.O.C.P (to use the XMP profile of the RAM) and then reboot to apply the settings, 9 times out of 10 the PC never boots up (black screen) and the Asus diagnostic LED is Orange, indicating a DRAM issue. When it does boot up, it works just fine.
From a Google search, it appears others have had issues with using DOCP. As the RAM is new, should I return it and try a lower frequency RAM (say 3000Mhz) or is this an issue that probably won't be resolved even with different RAM?
