With a $1500 budget and the MB + CPU requirement, this is how i would definitely build my system. im much more interested in performance over looks, so Tom's Hardware choice for a great budget case was the way to go (cant skimp TOO MUCH in some places). Dual SSD drives - 32 gb dedicated for my OS and 120gb for games and programs. at the end when you go over the budget, it sucks downgrading everything a little when you are over by like 20$. im definitely looking forward to the other two contests, maybe there will be a lot more space for putting it together entirely "my way."

This Build is my first for Toms Hardware so Bare with me,

Went with this setup for Ramdisk and SSD Caching for the PC Setup for better performance. Thanks for reading!

Less than ONE DAY left! :bounce:

Everyone--especially my fellow newcomers to the community who are 'learning the ropes' too:
Double-check your build and the requirements, and
remember to fill out the Entry Form.

I did my build and double-checked it against the requirements on the announcement page and realized I had to make some changes... (I've seen another's build who needs to do the same.)

I finally posted my build, but I almost missed filling out the form at the SurveyGizmo Contest Entry and Rules Page.

I'd better go and fill that out now!

Happy Thanksgiving!

I was going to attempt this contest, but by starting out at about $940 from the 2 required components I think I'll stick with the AMD platform.

Thanks anyways ASUS
