Asus X99 Rampage V Error b2

Asus Rampage V
I7 5930K
16GB TeamGroup DDR4
3x MSI gtx 980 G4 Gaming
Evga p2 1000w
Corsair 750D


Added a speaker for beep codes. The code was one short beep.

Only had this error when I took out my 980 which had died ( down to 2)

I have tried putting it back- didn't work
Updating bios - didn't work, the button flashed 5 times then went off.

Any ideas?

Can try resetting CMOS - do you have the latest BIOS? Mobo Drivers?

How odd. I fixed my pc by putting the dead 980 in the motherboard WITHOUT the PCI-E power cables.
