Asus Z170-A cannot read my sata ssd and m.2 ssd at the same time

My win10 system is installed in a sata ssd. I recently bought a sata m.2 ssd mx300. The system cannot read it and it also doesn't show in the disk management.

When I change the on-board booting in the bios from sata to m.2, the bios can only recognize my m.2 ssd and cannot bot from sata so I cannot get into the windows system.

The m.2 ssd uses sata1 port and I plugged sata ssd to sata2 port.
How can I use them at the same time?

If you use the M.2 it'll disable some sata ports. It maybe the port the other ssd is connected to.

Read the manual it'll tell you what ports the M.2 disables if you use one

Does the mobo only have 2 sata ports

You sure M.2 only disables 1 sata port?

The motherboard have 6 sata ports, I have tried to plugged the data cable of sata sad to each of them but no one can help the bios or system recognize m.2 and sata ssd at the same time.

Read the manual, that will tell you what sata ports get disabled if you use the M.2 SD
