I just installed a samsung 970 pro 512gb ssd. After a painstaking process of finally getting it to work and boot properly, I have a working copy of windows 10 that boots. Unfortunately, when I turn on the power, the bios posts, waits 3 seconds (as I have set it), then a black screen, another ASUS logo (as if it is the bios post) and an additional 15 or so seconds with a spinning dotted wheel in the middle. After this windows starts up seamlessly. I am wondering what I should do to prevent this 15 seconds. Before this I had a regular SATA SSD and it started up much faster.
Settings wise, I have the M.2 drive set to be read as M.2 (and not SATA as I have another hard drive in the SATA1 slot).
Any help would be much appreciated.
