[SOLVED] Asus Z170i i7 6500t upgrade to 7700k wont boot

I bought Asus Z170i Pro Gaming mobo for my son. I got i5 6500t from other pc and it works on it with Trident Z and also with Corsair ram. I updated bios to newest version 3805 and bought used i7 7700k. After switching it on ram works (leds on radiator) but there is no speaker beep or video. What could be the problem? Is cpu defected or something else? I dont have extra motherboard to check ( i5 after reinserting works i7 does not).

reset the BIOS by jumper clrCMOS, after installing the 7700k

Tried that already. Think i need to get some extra mobo to test it

We certainly cannot overlook the fairly obvious possibility that the used 7700K was a 'must sell now, delidded/broken' ....dud...
