I picked up a second hand Asus Z270-A motherboard for cheap. The board had bent cpu pins that I corrected, I was thinking it would be an easy fix but it won’t power on. The green led power light is blinking, however no other lights on the board are working.

The psu is tested and working properly it’s a new Corsair TX-550M.

Things I’ve already done. Attempted to short out the power switch front panel connector. Cleared cmos, replaced cmos battery. Jumped started the psu with the 24 pin connector attached to the board. All I get is a clicking noise that matches the blinking on the board.

I’m testing with a cheap celeron, and Corsair vengeance memory. I tried both sticks then just one in their proper slots.

Thanks

Solution
The only other thing I can suggest is try taking it out of the case and running it on top of a cardboard box to eliminate any shorts. If it still blinks with:

- No CPU
- No RAM
- A PSU you know works
- No chance of shorting somewhere on the case
- Only plugged in to a 24 pin

then I think the board may be hosed. The bent CPU pins are a pretty big red flag as well. I'd try to get a refund.
