Asus Z270F + Cloud II mic issues

Basically my headsets (Cloud 2) microphone sounds muffled on my "new" build PC. I have tried it on my laptop and it works perfectly. So my conclusion is that it is an issue with the motherboard. Both running Windows 10 Home.

Some things i have already done:
- Downloaded & installed Realtek audio drivers
- Tried different usb ports
- Updated BIOS

Solved it. Windows had set mic quality on lowest by default.
