Asus Z270G Gaming CPU LED to DRAM LED No Boot

So i just finished building my new pc and bumped unto this really irritating error.
While turning on the pc everything seemed to work fine. LED's on, fans spinning, wires all connected, ram in correct places etcetera. I just didn't get a display (HDMI in motherboard) and i noticed the CPU Red LED blinked briefly and directly after that the CMOD yellow/amber LED lighted up for 3 seconds. This process just keeps repeating itself.

I disconnected all the components from the MB except the CPU and RAM. Plugged in the power chords for CPU and motherboard and still the same error. RAM is in slot 1 and 3. Tried all possiblle combinations, CPU pins are fine. Not bend or whatever. All the components are new.

What the hell is going on?

Intel i7 7700k
Corsair 2x 8GB DDR4 3200Mhz LED
Corsair RM750x 750 watt Gold cert.
Corsair H100i v2
ASUS Strix GTX1080 AG (not yet installed. will arrive later)

Board, CPU, or both I'd say.

Not sure what could be wrong here. Maybe RAMs not compatible with the current BIOS version?
