Question asus z390h io shield is stuck on the motherboard

help, im trying to take the io shield off the motherboard to put in the case, is it suppose to stay on the motherboard or am i suppose to tug it off?

That motherboard shield is designed to not detach from the motherboard. Be thankful I wish most ATX sized and larger motherboards were built this way.

thankyou! so do i need to push it into the io hole if i is on the motherboard?

I'm not familiar with the installation instructions for that motherboard. Just guessing but I would assume so as it would look weird if it wasn't flush with the case.
