Asus Z690 TUF Gaming D4
12600K
Hynix PC801 NVMe SSD (pulled from a Dell laptop)
Hynix 3200MHz OEM ram overclocked to 3466 16-18-18-36
SuperFlower LEADEX titanium 850W
No GPU yet (integrated graphics for now)

This is a new build, and I updated the BIOS first thing. The monitor was connected to the motherboard's DP port.
The RAM pair was not overclocked when updating BIOS.

After the update using the flash tool in the BIOS tool menu, after a reboot, the ASUS splash screen showed up but stayed there forever (left it for 40 minutes or so) and when I came back, there was no display signal, CPU fan was running and all the board LEDs were on. But no response to my keyboard inputs.
I turned off the system using the on/off button and I was able to turn on and get to the BIOS (updated version). I am wondering if this is a normal behavior.
Should I consider replacing this board?
