My problem is, I can get into the bios from a cold boot. But if you ever save and exit from the bios, restarting the machine it wont post, No keyboard, monitor, nothing. But if I hold the power button to shut it down, then boot it after a few seconds it can get into the bios.

Something to note is that on the restart where it doesn't post, the CPU red LED turns on and stays on, really not sure why or know what that means.

I've tried playing with so many settings in the bios including, but not exclusive to:

-turning off fastboot
-booting via legacy as opposed to UEFI

I've tried removing two sticks of RAM at a time.

I don't think it's my PSU, reason being it's fairly new and has been running in another computer for about a month or so without any issues, though it could be. I just don't have any evidence to support that it is a cause.

Frankly I'm all out of ideas, any help would be greatly appreciated.

My Rig:

Asus Z87-A
i7-4790k
EVGA 750w PSU
16gb DDR3 1333MHz
GTX 760 4GB
Samsung 120Gb SSD

Unfortunately I've tried that with no such luck, no bent pins as far as I can tell, and the CPU seems to be seated just fine. I just updated the bios as well with no change as well.

Thanks for the solutions but I fixed my restarting problems, what I needed to do was to delve into the CPU settings and turn boot bios speed up to "turbo preferred". Not sure what that means exactly, but apparently it solved that issue. Thanks for your help!
