Before I discuss the problem parts list.

Motherboard asus z97-a

Cpu INTEL Core™ i5-4690K

Gpu asus scrix 970 sc

Power supply THERMALTAKE TPD-0750 Toughpower™ Gold 750W Power Supply

ram KINGSTON 8GB (2 x 4GB) HyperX Fury Black PC3-14000 DDR3 1866MHz

Backstory to explain

I had oc the cpu to 4.5 ghz with the ASUS AI Suite 3 utility. It ran stable except when I had to boot the computer up. It would take a press of the reset button in order for it to successfully boot After it booted up the computer ran really well.

Now to the problem

I tryed to remove the oc by clearing the rtc ram with the jumper.

Now it stuck at the boot device led

Thanks in advance.

By the way i have done this before and there wasn't a issue

Solution
This happened to me once after removing an overclock. I removed my GPU and booted up the PC through on board video while smashing my DEL key. It eventually went to the BIOS and all was fine after. I have an Asus Z97-A. I know Asus has some kind of bad overclock protection built in where it will revert to last working config but I'm not sure exactly what it takes to trigger it.

The jumper is in Stock position. I left the battery out for a good half hour put it back in and the issue still persists.

I even removed the graphics card, the hard drive, the case fans and the wireless card. Tryed powering it on and the issue still persists.
